About Sandra

Sandra is originally from a small village in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 2016. She has Masters’ degrees in both Business Administration and German Law, and completed her legal studies at UBC before joining Stirling LLP in the fall of 2021.

Industry Involvement

Sandra’s main areas of focus and interest include the revitalization of sustainable Indigenous economies as well as Indigenous rights and title. She has spent numerous years working with the Coastal First Nations. Her work there provided Sandra the opportunity to support the Great Bear Initiative Society and be connected to the communities of the original Nations of Turtle Island while providing technical assistance as an ally. Working with Indigenous communities is extremely important to Sandra and something she is very dedicated to.
In addition to her work with the Coastal First Nations, Sandra has legal articling experience in Germany with the Higher Regional Court of Hamm, Hüttenbrink Partner Rechtsanwälte mbB, the Public Prosecutor’s Offices in Münster, and Judge Teubel in the Regional Court in Münster. She also worked as a Project Coordinator/ Project Manager with the Canadian German Chamber for Industry and Commerce.

Personal Information

In her free time, Sandra loves being in nature and going on weekend hikes with friends.
