About Karell
Karell was born and raised in Alberta. She has been working in the legal industry for over 18 years. Before joining Stirling LLP, Karell was employed as a paralegal in a national firm in downtown Vancouver, and was the team lead in a group of insolvency litigation paralegals.
Karell handles all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, residential conveyances and property development matters, including property subdivisions, preparation of related land title documents, strata plan registrations and dealings with First Nations lands registered in the federal Indian Land Registry. She also has experience with commercial lending matters, acting for both lenders and borrowers. Karell frequently conducts comprehensive due diligence searches of vendors and borrowers, the target properties and off-title related matters and prepares due diligence reports and summaries based on the search results.
Karell studied Business Commerce at the University of Calgary and obtained Paralegal certification from Grant MacEwan University.
She is currently a member of the British Columbia Paralegal Association.
